{"id":758,"date":"2024-12-18T16:41:56","date_gmt":"2024-12-18T16:41:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/policies.pstcc.edu\/?page_id=758"},"modified":"2025-02-06T17:46:03","modified_gmt":"2025-02-06T17:46:03","slug":"policy-081100","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/policies.pstcc.edu\/?page_id=758","title":{"rendered":"POLICY 08:11:00"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>MAIL SERVICE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Purpose<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this policy is to establish mail service procedures for Pellissippi State Community College.<\/p>\n<p>Policy<\/p>\n<ol type=\"I\">College mail is picked up at the U.S. post office daily and processed through the mailroom located n Bill Haslam for Math and Science Building, room 2005. Out- going mail should be in the mailroom by 2:30 p.m. for delivery to the U.S. post office.\n<li>The mailroom staff will process all out-going mail for the college. Processing includes sealing letters (submit with flap folded down), putting on the required postage, and delivering to the post office.<\/li>\n<li>A Postal Charge Form (#182059) must be attached to all outgoing mail. Forms are available in the mailroom.<\/li>\n<li>Departmental and office mailboxes are located on the Hardin Valley Campus on the 2\u207f\u1d48 Floor of Bill Haslam Center for Math and Science, room 2005. A delivery is made each day to Blount County Campus, Magnolia Avenue Campus, and Strawberry Plains Campus. The mail carrier leaves the Hardin Valley Campus each day at 8:30 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Pellissippi State will not provide postage for personal mail nor receive personal mail.<\/li>\n<li>When addressing inter-campus mail, provide receiver&#8217;s name, department and campus location.<br \/><br \/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Approved: Executive Council, March 4, 1991<br \/>Editorial Changes, May 4, 1993<br \/>Approved: President Allen G.
